Establishment of steering committee for Kobe beef brand management and demand expansion overseas.




Since the first exports of Kobe Beef overseas in February 2012, the number of export destination countries and designated registered stores has been steadily increasing.


In order to manage the Kobe Beef brand, and expand demand, overseas, a steering committee shall be established, with the aim of strengthening brand management to counter imitation and counterfeit products and further expanding demand overseas.


From 2012, "overseas monitor member" who cooperated in brand awareness will be temporarily suspended.
